McAfee lists 36 Android applications available on the Play Store and infected with dangerous malware. Victims end up with pop-up ads and private data exposed to hackers.
Android is not immune to malware, in particular because of its alternative stores, while Apple could follow with the authorization of downloadable apps outside the App Store. But sometimes it’s the Play Store, Google’s legitimate store on Android, which ends up with dangerous virus applications. McAfee has just pinpointed 36 applications containing dangerous malware, here are the ones!

Pop-up advertisements and stolen private data
McAfee researchers have pinpointed dozens of malware-infected apps available for download from the Android Play Store. This dangerous malware displays pop-up ads on the victim’s smartphone, thus generating money, but also seizes private data such as the applications used or the precise location of the user.
In other words great damage in prospect if you accidentally downloaded the malware from the Play Store. Sometimes, certain infected applications have millions of downloads and it is difficult to detect the pitfalls.

Which applications have been infected by this malware?
Google listed the infected apps which have since been removed from the Play Store. McAfee indicates that in all, the cumulative downloads reached 100 million! Some infected applications are even 10 million downloads alone.
Suffice to say that the victims are numerous. Here are the apps infected with this malware, delete them immediately if present on your smartphone.
