This week is the finale of the third season of The Mandalorian at Disney Plus. Currently, however, another topic is being discussed among the fans. It’s about a moment in “Chapter 23: The Spies”where we supposedly have one “F Bomb” heard in the US original. However, because the line is not displayed in the subtitle – and in general a lot of interpretation is required – the fan camps are currently arguing about whether the swear word should be transmitted hidden.

What is happening in the scene?

Specifically, the penultimate episode of the season is about one Anzellanerwhich is right next to grogu initially says quite clearly and understandably: “Bad baby! No squeezie!” – before he murmurs off. And exactly this slurred line should now contain the “F-Bomb”. If you listen to the corresponding clip, you could really say that the Anzellaner spoke with the words “I’m out, motherfucker!” adopted. However, this is not official.

If the Anzellan actually cursed here, it would be the first F-bomb in the long history of star Wars act. The subtitle only says that the line in the mother tongue of the Anzellans was pronounced and should therefore sound incomprehensible.

The speculation is definitely funny. You can watch the scene in the video below. Listen for the “No squeezie!” right there. The supposedly hidden swear word can be heard there.

F word has been removed in Andor

By the way, this isn’t the first time the F-word has popped up in the world of Star Wars in the last few months. In the season one finale of Andor, a character’s mouth movement indicated that the words “Fuck the Empire!” fell in a speech. In an interview, those involved later said that Lucasfilm didn’t want to keep it. So one chose the gentler “Fight the Empire!” decided in the series.
