“Bauer sucht Frau” star Anna Heiser reports on Instagram about the dramatic birth of her daughter Alina Marikka. The little one had to be artificially ventilated.

In November, Anna Heiser (32) and her husband Gerald (37) announced sweet news: The “Bauer sucht Frau” stars welcomed their second baby into the world. Together, the couple already has a son, Leon (2), who was born in January 2021. The birth of their daughter Alina Marikka made the Heisers’ family happiness complete. However, the little one was born under the most dramatic of circumstances.

In an emotional Instagram post, the mother of two remembers the difficult hours. “When I see this photo I think of one of the most emotional moments of my life. The unfiltered feelings. Fear, love, exhaustion, hope,” wrote Anna to a picture that shows her after the birth with her daughter who is connected to tubes.

The first warning sign was that the Namibian emigrant’s labor had started much too early. “I was in the 35th week of pregnancy and therefore still had a lot of time before the birth. During the night, the contractions got worse and worse,” she said. Fortunately, the couple made their way to the hospital, which was 200 kilometers from their farm, in good time.

Anna Heiser: “It was an indescribable time”

Eventually it became clear that the birth could no longer be stopped. “I was overcome by a mixture of feelings of excitement at meeting my second miracle and dread,” revealed the influencer. As with the previous birth of son Leon, the PDA did not work.

When Anna heard her little princess scream for the first time, it was an “incredibly nice feeling”, but unfortunately it was “short-lived”. “Because it quickly became clear that she could not breathe on her own and had to go straight to the intensive care unit. I can’t describe what was going through my mind at the time,” revealed the Polish-born. “I was incredibly happy that Gerald was there.” The next day she dragged herself “with all her strength” to the neonatal intensive care unit to be with her baby.

“It was an indescribable time with a rollercoaster of emotions. Fear, love, joy – everything was there,” Anna summed up. “Now Alina sleeps on my chest, I listen to her breathing and I’m just happy to have had a guardian angel.”
