On Sunday night, the UK TV industry’s elite walked the red carpet at the BAFTAs. Motsi Mabuse in particular attracted attention.

The BAFTA TV Awards were presented at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday evening. In addition to stars like Kate Winslet and Gary Oldman, “Let’s Dance” juror Motsi Mabuse and her sister, professional dancer Oti Mabuse, who is ten years her junior, also walked the red carpet of the event.

As the British “Daily Mail” reports, the sisters attracted everyone’s attention at the event. Motsi wore a see-through pastel floral dress by Matsour’i. It had a V-shaped neckline and a floor-length cape.

As the 42-year-old revealed on Instagram, there was a lot of work behind the glamorous appearance: “Many thanks to my team for always having everything under control! It was an intense three weeks and no matter how hard I try to be prepared, I am never really prepared for it.”

Under the post, they shower the fans with compliments. “A dream of a dress, you look great,” commented one user, for example. “What a beautiful dress,” said another. The word “wow” can also be found several times under the pictures.

Oti Mabuse in Gold

Oti Mabuse also enchanted in an elegant dress. The gold pleated robe is from the Zandra Rhodes Spring 2019 collection. “BAFTA is always a privilege,” the 32-year-old wrote on Instagram after the night.

“Being in this room full of industry heads is probably one of the most inspiring and emotional moments.” She is very lucky to be able to share this moment with her “beautiful sister”.

Why are Motsi and Oti at the BAFTAs?

But why were Motsi and Oti Mabuse at the Bafta TV Awards in the first place? Both are stars in Great Britain and are known for the BBC show “Strictly Come Dancing”, the British equivalent of “Let’s Dance”. Motsi Mabuse has been on the jury there since 2019, Oti was there as a professional dancer.

The two also presented the “Entertainment performance” category during the gala. As seen in a clip on Motsi’s Instagram story, the sisters pranced onto the stage and then shouted, “We’re here.”
