Gabriel Martinelli remains at Arsenal. As reported by The Athletic, the 21-year-old Brazilian has agreed to a contract extension until 2027. For months, the Gunners have been trying to persuade their young top performer to sign a new contract. The current working paper of the left wing expires in 2024.

With nine goals in 19 league games at Arsenal, Martinelli is partly responsible for the current lead of the Londoners. The right-footed player has made 26 appearances across all competitions this season. Martinelli’s performance and his contract situation had drawn FC Barcelona’s attention in the past. With the new signature, however, the issue should have been settled for the time being.
