FC Schalke 04 would like to bring Leopold Wahlstedt on board as a challenger for regular keeper Ralf Fährmann. As ‘Sky’ report, talks have already taken place between the Royal Blues and the 23-year-old from Odds BK. The Norwegian newspaper ‘Telemarksavisa’ previously reported that Schalke scouts were watching Wahlstedt.

The fee for Wahlstedt is between 500,000 and 800,000 euros. The Swede’s contract runs until the end of the year. At Schalke, Fährmann is now the clear number one again. In eleven games, the 34-year-old conceded just nine goals and only lost twice with his team.
