Assassin’s Creed Syndicate gets a new update today. Yes, you read that right: A new update for the game released in 2015.
And not just for fun, no, Ubisoft wants to solve an annoying problem.
Concerns the PlayStation 5
Sony’s PlayStation 5 is affected by this. There are graphics problems if you play Assassin’s Creed Syndicate via backwards compatibility.
This is reflected in the form of flickering textures, correctly and incorrectly displayed textures alternate in quick succession.
An issue that isn’t exactly pleasant to look at and, for some, renders Syndicate unplayable.
The problem has been known since the launch of the PlayStation 5, but it’s also nice to see that Ubisoft is still changing something after all this time. Better late than never.
We’re happy to announce that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will receive an update tomorrow, February 23, on PlayStation 4.
