At gunpoint: teenager arrested for the third time and for the same crime

TERRA BELLA, California – Tulare County authorities are investigating a teenager suspected of committing several armed robberies that occurred in February, May and July of this year.

Over the weekend officers arrested the unidentified youth for his involvement in a carjacking in Terra Bella and a gas station holdup in Porterville on July 30.

On that occasion, the suspect took a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and several objects belonging to the victims who were parked at the Carl Smith School when they were intercepted.

The raid and search of the house yielded evidence that links him to the aforementioned crimes.

The same subject had already been arrested in February for a robbery at gunpoint at the C&F Market store in Terra Bella. Later, in May of this year, he was one of three suspects arrested for the armed robbery at the Ducor Handi Mart business.

On that occasion, the teenagers allegedly responsible took the car of one of the clients present at the scene. Authorities say the same individuals attempted to rob another store using the stolen car, but were apprehended after a police chase ended in Porterville.
