Call us shallow, but Atomic Heart captured our interest with its stunning graphics and Bioshock and Fallout-inspired setup from the first second we saw it in 2018, but it’s been a turbulent time since then. The fact that Russian Mundfish’s increasingly ambitious title has gone through five years of delays says it all, but the wait is finally over.

Mundfish and Focus Entertainment finally announce that Atomic Heart has reached gold status, which in simple terms means that the development of the game has ended. So if it doesn’t make a Cyberpunk 2077 (the only game that was delayed even though it was ready) you can be absolutely sure that Atomic Hearts will launch on February 21st.

The game is also included with Game Pass, so if you have the subscription service, just download and play. However, we are a little concerned that it will be released in less than a month without having seen any gameplay from the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series S/X versions yet… It feels worrying when the developers have talked a lot about how they want to push PC- format to the extreme.
