It’s been a week since the long-awaited release of Hogwarts Legacy and we can already call it the first big release of 2023, as it has been a huge success for WB Games and has been selling very well since before its release. Despite the incredible success that Hogwarts Legacy is having, Avalanche Software Says It Doesn’t Plan DLC.

Hogwarts Legacy Headmaster Alan Tew recently appeared at a IGN Fan Fest and revealed that Avalanche Software is not planning to make DLC for Hogwarts Legacy, as the team has been fully focused on preparing the game for release. “We have lowered our heads to bring [Hogwarts Legacy] to the life”, Was what the game director said.

As Alan Tew explains, Avalanche Software has been so focused on the development of Hogwarts Legacy that they haven’t thought about its additional downloadable content at the moment, so it’s not certain that the game will receive an expansion later. Alan says that the development team was so focused on the release of Hogwarts Legacy that “at the moment there are no plans for DLC”.

Remember that at the moment Hogwarts Legacy is only available on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and PC consoles, but it is confirmed that the game will arrive on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on April 4 of this year. In addition, Nintendo Switch players will receive Hogwarts Legacy on July 25, as long as this version is not delayed.

Although there is no confirmed DLC for Hogwarts Legacy at the moment, it is possible that Avalanche Software will eventually develop an expansion, as the game has been incredibly successful upon its release. Remember that you can also listen to the Hogwarts Legacy OST on multiple digital platforms, since it was published the same day it was released.
