Baby boom at the Schweinsteigers!
football legend Bastian Schweinsteiger (38) and his wife Ana Ivanović (35) are expecting a new child. On Friday, the world champion and the ex-tennis player announced the happy news on Instagram.
“Now Bastian and I will officially be outnumbered.” The pregnant Ana alludes to her number of children with Basti. The athlete couple already has two with Luka (4) and Leon (3), but soon the Schweinsteiger family will have more offspring than parents…

Among the well-wishers: Schweini’s former employer, the FC Bayern (until 2015), as well as the DFB account (Basti played for Germany until 2016). But the World Tennis Association WTA is also happy. Born in Serbia, Ana was one of the best players in the world before she hung up the tennis racket in 2016.
Today, both enjoy the quiet family life and appear together as a couple in a hardware store TV commercial. The soon-to-be father of three, Bastian, continues to cut a fine figure in football: as a TV expert for the ARD sports show.
