With several photos from a surveillance camera, the Berlin police are looking for four suspected burglars.
As the police announced on Monday, the quartet is said to have broken into two apartments in Grunewald between Christmas Eve last year and January 22 this year. The women are said to have stolen jewellery, watches and money.
In addition, the quartet is said to have tried unsuccessfully to gain access to two apartments in Wilmersdorf.
The Berlin police have a total of seven photos of the alleged burglars published on their website. The investigators are asking witnesses who can provide information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspects pictured or other information about the burglaries to come forward.
This is possible at the police department 2 (West) at Charlottenburger Chaussee 75 in Spandau, telephone number 030-4664272118, or at any other police station. (tsp)
