Bill Gates (67) is no longer single, and apparently has been for a while. The Microsoft founder is with Paula Hurd (60), the widow of Oracle boss Mark Hurd († 62), who died in 2019.
Gates and Hurd have been dating for over a year, reports the Daily Mail. “They are inseparable,” a friend of the couple told the newspaper. It’s no secret that the two are in a romantic relationship.
The US magazine “People” quoted an insider as saying: “It is well known that Bill Gates and Paula Hurd are dating, but she has not yet met his children.”
Hurd was a former tech executive himself. Today she is an event planner, organizer and – like Bill Gates – philanthropist. Not the only thing they have in common: the love of tennis probably brought the two together, the “ Daily Mail“.
In September, Gates and Hurd were spotted at the 2022 Laver Cup in London. And: As early as October 2021, two months after Gates’ divorce, the two were photographed at the tennis tournament in Indian Wells (California), although at the time they were sitting a few rows apart.
Gates and Hurd sat side by side in the stands at the men’s final of the Australian Open in Melbourne last month. The two were also photographed while sightseeing. It was not known in January that the woman Gates was traveling with was Paula Hurd.
New love after 27 years of marriage
Almost two years ago, Gates and his then-wife Melinda French Gates (58) announced that they were getting divorced after 27 years of marriage. They have been divorced since August 2021. The ex-couple have three children together: daughters Jennifer (26) and Phoebe (20) and son Rory (23).

Hurd, a native of Kalupa, was an executive at tech company NCR when she married Mark Hurd in 1990, who later rose to become Oracle CEO. The marriage produced two daughters.
