“Black Mirror” It was one of the Netflix series that earned a prominent place on the platform due to its dystopian nature that generated interesting and dramatic reflections on one of the issues that most do not go through these days: the use of technology. As promised by its filmmakers, this new installment will exceed in quantity the three episodes of its fifth season starring Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie y Andrew Scott -like the figures of each chapter-, which did not obtain very favorable reviews. Faced with this, the specialized media Entertainment Weeklyrevealed the plot of his next five stories headlined by a revamped cast, and written from a script written by series creator Brooker.

1. “Joan Is Awful”: “An average woman is surprised to discover that a global streaming platform has launched a prestigious television drama adaptation of her life, in which she is played by Hollywood star Salma Hayek,” her synopsis advances.

2. “Loch Henry”: “A young couple travels to a quiet Scottish town to start work on a nature documentary, but they find themselves drawn to a juicy local story that involves shocking events from the past,” advances its synopsis.

It is directed by Sam Miller (“Luther”) and stars Samuel Blenkin, Myha’la Herrold, Daniel Portman, John Hannah y Monica Dolan.

3. “Beyond the Sea”: “Two men on a dangerous, high-tech mission grapple with the consequences of an unimaginable tragedy” in an alternate setting time-set in 1969.

The direction is in charge of John Crowley (“Brooklyn”), featuring performances by Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Auden Thornton y Rory Culkin.

4. “Mazey Day”: “A troubled star is pursued by invasive paparazzi while dealing with the aftermath of a hit-and-run incident,” its synopsis details.

With address of Uta Briesewitz (who has worked for Netflix on “Stranger Things”, “Jessica Jones”) and performances by Zazie Beetz, Clara Rugaard y Danny Ramirez.

5. “Demon 79″: “A calm sales assistant is told that she must commit terrible acts to avoid a disaster,” advances the synopsis of this episode set in England, 1979.

It has the realization of the director Toby Hayne (who directed the episode “USS Callister”, the first of season 4) from a script co-written by Brooker and Bisha K. Ali. In the cast, the performances of Anjana Vasan, Paapa Essiedu, Katherine Rose Morley y David Shields.
