Within the S&P/BMV IPC most of the components ended in red, with 20 of these values in negative and 15 in green. The decreases were led by Grupo Financiero Banorte, with 2.02, and Coca Cola FEMSA, which fell 1.88 percent.
US consumer confidence plunged to a six-month low in May. Local indices fell for the second day in a row. In the weekly comparison, both finished the week largely unchanged.
