Lukas Daschner is on course to say goodbye to FC St. Pauli. As the ‘kicker’ reports, the attacking midfielder has turned down an offer to extend his contract. Most recently, VfL Bochum and Hertha BSC had their eyes on the 24-year-old.

According to the report, Daschner aims to play in the Bundesliga in the near future. With three games remaining and four points behind third-placed Hamburger SV, St. Pauli’s chances of promotion this season are negligible. Daschner was able to draw attention to himself this season with 15 direct goals (eight goals, seven assists) in 31 games and is one of the top performers under coach Fabian Hürzeler.
