Bolivian teachers will harden their protests against the government of Luis Arce: they ask for the cancellation of the new study plan

The urban teachers of Bolivia announced that from next week they will harden their protests adding your order higher budget and the cancellation of the new study plan to the demands that other social sectors have raised to the Government.

Álvarez said that starting next week there will be a new “caravan” of teachers to La Pazthe seat city of the Executive and Legislative powers, to reinforce the protest, which began six weeks ago with marches and hunger strike pickets.

Likewise, the teacher’s leader assured that his sector, instead of weakening, has “strengthened” and thanks to the fact that the movement has an impact “national”.

Teachers claim that they want to apply contents of English, native languages, robotics or chess without hiring specialized teachers and without an autonomous budget, something they say is contrary to the quality of education.
