Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, which is inspired by the famous Dreamcast Jet Set Radio, will be released on August 18 on Nintendo Switch and Steam, as well as other platforms in the future. The game was announced in 2021 for a 2022 release before the latter was pushed back.

So the release date trailer was shown during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase, along with a gameplay preview. In this game, the player skates through stylized urban environments while tagging the walls with graffiti. The trailer also shows city exploration, potential story scenes, and an in-game cell phone for messages. The game includes rollerblades, skateboards and BMXs.

The game takes place in a futuristic world where teams of graffiti artists equipped with personal boostpacks compete to take control of the streets. Players will be able to dance, paint graffiti, collect beats, combine tricks and battle the cops to claim control of the sprawling metropolis of New Amsterdam. The game will be available for pre-download on Steam before release.
