They present before the Inter-American Court a case against Maduro for the El Junquito massacre

MIAMI — Luis Armando Pérez, brother of Óscar Pérez, called on Venezuelans to resist and take to the streets in Venezuela starting Saturday in response to the new usurpation of power by dictator Nicolás Maduro.

The brother of the former military man said that Venezuelans are facing dark times where a “dictator has once again usurped power, blatantly violating the rights of millions of Venezuelans.”

“From zero hour, everyone in the streets. Today I speak to you with the same fervor that characterized my brother in his tireless fight for freedom, unity and justice.”

“This message is not only a call to resistance, it is a call for hope and struggle. We cannot allow the tyrant to continue oppressing our people. We must remember the words of Oscar, who with courage and sacrifice showed us the way to freedom. We are not alone, gentlemen, and we must not give up. Active resistance. The time has come to dust off the secrets and let them breathe. Let us activate Operation “The Hand of God.”

“Each one of us must prepare ourselves with tricks and intelligence. This issue that keeps us awake at night, we gentlemen, have to resolve it ourselves, no one else will do it,” Perez urged.

“Let’s go out into the streets, let’s prepare for the final battle, which will lead us to freedom, not only for ourselves, but for the generations to come, for those who have not yet been born who deserve a free and just country.

He called on everyone to remain united in this fight because only together can we be invincible. “Today more than ever is the time to fight, resist and win. Starting tomorrow, zero hour, everyone in the streets.”
