Ciudad Juárez— The United States Customs and Border Protection will hold a public outreach event tomorrow at the Paso del Norte border crossing to answer questions on topics such as the use of SENTRI/DCL and restrictions on agricultural products.

Agents will place a screen in the pedestrian inspection zone to share important information with travelers, it was reported.

“CBP used to routinely hold events like this, however the Covid pandemic restricted our ability to deliver this information”, “Our goal is to routinely host events like this in the future. The information we will share is available online , but this event gives those who feel more comfortable talking to a person the opportunity to do so,” explained CBP Port of El Paso Director Ray Provencio.

Experts from the office in charge of policing the official ports of entry to the United States will be available to discuss a variety of topics and answer questions related to registration and use of SENTRI/DCL, CBP agricultural requirements, how to use the CBP application One for those who already have a tourist visa, and other issues.

The outreach event will begin at 6:00 in the morning and conclude at 2:00 in the afternoon.
