This AW2524H offers a 1920 x 1080p IPS panelwith a low 0.5 ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time plus the Nvidia G-Sync combo, which prevents on-screen action from tearing and ghosting, according to the report published on the NVIDIA website. Digital Trends.

Dell explains that 25-inch size and 1080p resolution continue to be preferred by e-Sports professionals. Add that this monitor is capable of 99 percent sRGB, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for greater color impact, and TUV-certified low blue light to reduce eye strain.

Of course, this gaming monitor has customizable RGB lighting. It is located on the head and the Alienware numbers on the rear and the power button on the bottom. Another interesting feature of the AW2524H is the slide-out headphone cradle on the left side of the frame.

The small letters of the 500hz

The advertised refresh rate has a couple of caveats: 500Hz can only be achieved by overclocking via a DisplayPort connection, otherwise the monitor is limited to a native 480Hz. When connected via HDMI, the refresh rate drops to 240Hz.

Regarding ports, the AW2524H has two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, four USB-A 3.2, one USB-B 3.2, a Kensington lock, and a 3.5mm audio port.

Alienware claims that the packaging the AW2524H ships in uses 75 percent recycled cardboard, or 50% less than previous methods, for more sustainability. A quarter of the stand and display casing are made from 25% PCR plastics and the carry handle is made from Ocean Bound Plastic.

The company did not reveal a price for the monitor, but it is expected to hit North American stores in March 2023.
