MSI announced on Wednesday (04) a major upgrade for its gaming notebooks and ultrathin dedicated to content creation and professional applications. The models will leave the factory with updated hardware for the 13th generation Core, Intel’s new processor lines; and GeForce RTX 40, NVIDIA’s new mobile graphics cards.

gaming notebooks

Two of the most advanced gaming notebook lines in the Taiwanese manufacturer’s portfolio, Titan GT and Raider GE, will now feature processors ranging up to the Core i9-13980HX, a 24-core, 32-thread model clocked at 5.6 GHz . In addition, laptops will come with graphics cards ranging up to the top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 4090.

Among the announced models, there is a highlight for a new Titan GT77 with 17.3-inch Mini LED with 4K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate – the first in the world with these advanced screen specifications. The other models can be found in versions with Quad HD resolution, IPS and higher refresh rates.

The more affordable Vector GP models are also updated with the latest generation of processors and graphics cards from Intel and NVIDIA, but the CPU belongs to the “H” line — which works at lower power than the “HX” line — and the graphics card models only go up to the 8 GB GeForce RTX 4070.

MSI also presented an unprecedented line of gaming notebooks, the Cyborg 15, which boasts a futuristic design with a translucent chassis that allows you to view the device’s internal components. Its specifications include processors up to the Intel Core i7-13620H and graphics cards up to the GeForce RTX 4060.

Finally, the Katana, Sword and Pulse lines received an upgrade with 13th generation Core processors from the “H” series and GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards. Up to 17.3-inch IPS technology with fluid refresh rates and high resolution.

Creator Z series laptops

To ensure maximum performance in content creation, MSI announced Creator Z17 and Creator Z16 as its new high-powered notebooks powered by Intel’s “HX” series processors. Its cooling systems with vapor chambers allow the hardware to work with stable performance.

With 17- and 16-inch screens and 120 Hz refresh rates, the models have color calibration that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 gamut. Larger model supports MSI Pen 2the brand’s stylus pen that expands the possibilities of graphic production.

Thin and light laptops

Focused on portability, the Prestige series features four models: Prestige 13 Evo, 14 Evo, 16 Evo and 16 Studio A13V, whose main differences are their screen sizes specified in their names. The models feature 13th generation Intel Core processors from the “P” “H” series, optimized to work with balanced power in ultra-thin devices.

The Prestige 13 Evo stands out for being the MSI’s lightest notebook, weighing just 990 grams. For this, the model refrains from a dedicated video card and uses only the integrated graphics of the Core i7-1360P. Combined with the efficiency of LPDDR5 RAM, its 75 Whr battery promises to deliver up to 15 hours of autonomy.
