The final episode of the first season of Chainsaw Manand now that we’ve seen Denji take on the Katana Devil in a fight until the end of the anime, keeping Denji in check to pay off his late father’s debts.
This battle works on various levels and also go to Chainsaw Devil with a new power that could shock viewers who have been watching Denji’s gory and hilarious adventures since Studio MAPPA.

the fusion of Denji with pochitanot only allowed him to sprout chainsaw blades from his head and arms, but also made him nearly immortal, as he can lose limbs, be sliced in half, and generally take enormous amounts of savage violence, but he fails to be defeated, as he can quickly heal from any damage he takes, which is unfortunately a similar power to what Katana Man has.
And now, just as Denji’s heart was replaced by Pochita, katana-man Something similar happened to him, making him a dark reflection of the anime’s protagonist, and during their fight, Denji was able to defeat the antagonist thanks to a power the demon didn’t have.
You see, during their fight on the subway car, Denji’s arms were severed by the Katana, along with the blade sticking out of his head. Luckily for Chainsaw Devil, he has other blades at his disposal, as Denji can cut his opponent right in half using his legs, making for a pretty surprising finish to the confrontation.
As of yet, Studio MAPPA has yet to confirm a second season of Chainsaw Man is on the way, though considering the popularity of its anime adaptation, that’s quite likely to happen.
