The Department of Justice will file charges this Thursday against the mother of the little boy who was found alone inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a megastore in Ponce.
The woman, who was identified as Haydeé Lee Zambrana Quiñones, 26, was summoned earlier this past Monday at the Command to be interviewed in relation to the events.
The events occurred on July 21. It was a juvenile attorney who was in the place who noticed that the minor was inside the car -which was on- without an adult accompanying him.
He later notified authorities of the situation and was removed from the vehicle. It was indicated that he is in good health.
The female was allegedly in the megastore making some purchases.
The minor was not removed nor was the mother detained.
The vehicle was in the parking lot of a megastore in Ponce.
