The plot

The series is set between 30 and 40 years before the events of john wickand it will be a look about how Winston got into the criminal underworldthis before becoming the director of the Continental Hotel where several of the most brutal murderers in the world are housed.
But The Continentalthe prequel series to john wick, has more plot involved. Young Winston is settled in London as a successful businessman…and everything changes when Cormac, known for his brutal way of proceeding, orders him to be brought urgently to the Continental Hotel..
Cormac needs that Winston finds his own brother, Frankie Scott, who is known for being a former Vietnam War soldier turned hit man. Frankie stole a priceless item from the hotel, so the top bosses of the criminal world have Cormac between a rock and a hard place.

The cast is completed Ben Robson as Frankie, Ayomide Adegun as Charon (played in the films by the late Lance Reddick), Nhung Kate as Yen (Frankie’s wife), Mishel Prada and Jeremy Bobb as Detectives KD and Mayhew, plus Jessica Allain and Hubert Point-Du Jour as the experts in weapons and martial arts Lou and Miles.

The Continentalthe prequel series to John Wick, went through several changes for its premiere. Being a product based on the Lionsgate franchise, it was first expected to be released on Starz streaming in the United States, but it finally passed into the hands of Peacock.
In the US, the series will premiere on September 22 on that same platform. And since Peacock is not available in the rest of the world, Amazon Prime Video acquired it for its catalog and will also launch it internationally in September of this year. (although exactly what date has not been revealed).
