The women’s fight occurred because one of them ‘kept’ her eye on a compromised man. Finally, two were charged.
Prosecutor Alcides Giménez Zorrilla charged Marian Guadalupe Penayo (26) and Janina Maiara González Ramírez (28) for the alleged commission of the punishable acts of attempted homicide and serious injury, who are deprived of liberty.
The women are accused of having assaulted Francisca Paola Benítez Pereira and her mother Marta Ramona Pereira. The event occurred on July 18, in the Remansito neighborhood of Ciudad del Este.

It was approximately 4:00 p.m. and when they were going to return to their home, the defendants blocked the passage on board a motorcycle for the two women. There, Marian Penayo descended and seized a stone, threatening Francisca Benítez with break his head
Vvictims and perpetrators held a discussionn by a committed man. Later, the attackers withdrew, but they returned at around 6:00 p.m., with a machete and a firearm in hand.
Again they argued and struggled, a circumstance in which Marta Ramona was shot in the legright side, with entry and exit orifices, for which she was assisted at the Presidente Franco District Hospital.
Consequently, the Prosecutor’s Office requested the preventive prison of both involved in the case.
