Cimafunk makes history at Coachella by being the first Cuban to sing at the festival

Cimafunk has made history! The 35-year-old artist, whose real name is Erik Alejandro Iglesias Rodríguez, has become the first Cuban to sing at the famous Coachella festivalwhich is taking place in the California desert.

With their fused Caribbean rhythms, Cimafunk landed last weekend at the Coachella festival where they offered a vibrant performance to those attending their concert.

A dream come true for the Cuban who took the stage with his band The Tribe, in which he sang his musical hits that mix funk, afrobeat and hip hop.

The artist will perform again on April 19 at the popular festival. Other singers such as Lana del Rey, J Balvin, Peso Pluma and Bizarrap have also participated in this edition, which on the first weekend featured a surprise performance by Shakira.
