Juarez City.- Mariana Paola Casas Cervantes, a student from campus 7 of the Chihuahua State College of Bachelors (Cobach) in Ciudad Juárez, was selected to participate in the youth exchange program promoted by Rotary International and will travel to Belgium during the next school year.

The “Casa de los Pumas” student will continue her last semester studies on the European continent and will attend a local institution, which will allow her to experience daily life in another country and improve her language skills, the institution reported.

“I consider this to be a learning and personal growth experience. I am convinced that this exchange is one of the most effective ways to build bridges between different cultures, in addition to promoting peace and cooperation in various parts of the world”, said Mariana.

In this regard, the director of campus 7, Irma Leal Silva, highlighted the pride and joy that the young woman has been chosen to be part of this program represents for the school community, which is a great opportunity to build significant international relationships.

“The process has not been easy, but with his tenacity he made it. I am sure that with the enthusiasm that characterizes her, she will put the name of Mexico, Ciudad Juárez and the Colegio de Bachilleres very high, sharing our culture, customs, language and, above all, showing that Mexicans are hospitable and with a good heart.” he commented.

This exchange is a sample of the commitment that Cobach maintains to promote internationalization through a path of collaboration with organizations such as the Rotary Club, which allows young people to experience academic life in different countries.

It should be noted that during Mariana’s stay in Europe, a student from Belgium will settle in Ciudad Juárez, continue his education at campus 7 and will stay with the family of the Cobach student.
