Cuauhtémoc.- A balance of three lifeless bodies and at least two charred vehicles, are accounted for in a confrontation that took place during the early hours of this Sunday in Ejido El Dos, municipality of Madera.
This community is located on the route between La Mesa del Huracán and the ejido El Largo Maderal, a place that was the scene of a strong confrontation between criminal groups that disputed control of the area.
According to testimonies from residents, shortly before dawn the bursts of large-caliber weapons and some explosions could be heard in that area located an hour from the municipal seat.
Already during the morning, at least two burnt-out vehicles were seen on the highway that goes to Ciudad Madera, for which reason motorists who intended to cross the area chose to return for fear that the violent acts would continue.
Up to now, all the information available is based on comments from residents, since no official version of the facts has been given.
