“In the second quarter of 2023, the refining segment presented a historical record of 428,000 barrels per day (bpd) by registering an increase of 17.1% in the load to refineries compared to the same period of 2022 (62,500 more bopd) and an increase of 3.8% compared to the first quarter of 2023 (15,700 bopd more). Specifically, the Cartagena Refinery (Reficar) reported a load increase of 47.5% (67,000 more bopd) compared to the second quarter of 2022, and 10.6% (20,000 more bopd) compared to the first quarter of 2023″, Campetrol indicated.
