A violent episode that ended with A 79-year-old man died this Friday in a nursing home in La Plata. According to police sources reported to 0221.com.ar, another inmate from the same place, a roommate of the victim, was accused of the act, whom he allegedly hit on the head with a wooden railing, causing his death.
The event, whose derivations must be analyzed by the Justice, occurred in the “4 Estaciones” Home, located at 118 and 524 in the town of Tolosa, where people with different pathologies are housed.
The victim, a 78-year-old man identified by his initials as ROY, he appeared lying on his bed in room number 35, already lifeless. That room was shared by both patients with mental pathologies.
Apparently, according to what the police personnel who arrived at the scene reconstructed, after a discussion one of the men, identified as OC, who has been hospitalized since last November with a long-standing diagnosis of schizophrenia plus cognitive impairment, “he hit his roommate on the head with a wooden railing”the sources indicated to 0221.com.ar.
