Lucio Dupuy was murdered on November 26, 2021 in the house on Allan Kardec street at 2,300 Santa Rosa, where he lived with his mother, Magdalena Esposito Valentiand the woman’s partner, Abigail Paez.

The movements of the murderers and the 5-year-old boy were recorded by a camera located in front of the apartment and, thanks to these images, it was possible to conclude that at 5:32 p.m. Lucio was last seen alive. Between that moment and 7:40 p.m., when both defendants left the property alone, the boy he was brutally beaten.

According to the grounds of the judges’ ruling, Abigail Páez took his girlfriend on a motorcycle to a hotel restaurant in the Pampas capital, where she worked as a waitress, and returned alone at 8:49 p.m., when she tried to revive the child and put him under the shower .

At 9:30 p.m., Páez carried Lucio in his arms to the medical room in the Río Atuel neighborhood, close to his home, but it was closed, so the baby was referred to the Evita Hospital, where at 9:30 p.m. 21.45 it was found that he was already dead.

The Justice established that the two participated in the deadly beating, between 6 and 7 p.m. on November 26, and that the child was punched, kicked, and hit with a stick.

He was also stomped on the back by Páez (it could be determined by the imprint left by his shoe), which caused internal injuries, such as tearing his liver and, in addition, he was bitten in their intimate areas and on his left arm.

The Court of Hearing established that the child was the victim, appellant, of physical, psychological and sexual violence and determined that a “crescendo of violence” could be noticed, in light of the chats between the two defendants, aired during the trial, starting in mid-October 2021.
