Tony Adrián Sánchez, a 38-year-old Cuban arrested last weekend after recording with his cell phone under the dress of a woman in a bakery in Havana, appeared in court this Monday. Hialeah.

Bakery Employees Vicky -located at 860 southeast with Calle Ocho- they said in statements to Telemundo 51 that the act of voyeurism occurred inside the premises shortly after three in the afternoon on Saturday.

However, the incident escalated into a physical fight and moved to the parking lot when the victim’s husband realized the suspect was recording his partner.

When the police arrived at the scene, Sánchez said that he had not recorded anything, but upon reviewing his folder of deleted photos, the agents discovered that he had filmed a video that violated the woman’s privacy.

A bakery employee said that the defendant was a regular customer of the establishment and condemned what happened.

“That should not be done. You must respect women. We are not an object. We are human”, stressed the young interviewee.

He charged one count of voyeurism to a person 19 years of age or older. Tony Adrián Sánchez remains in the TGK county jail because at the time of the incident he was getting into his head on probation for other charges, his mugshot reveals.

Tony Adrián Sánchez’s criminal history dates back to at least 2010, when he was arrested along with three other Cubans in Knox County, Tennessee, accused of stealing some 625,000 worth of goods from a jewelry store in 2008, in addition to being involved in at least another 20 robberies in five states.
