A series is emerging in the RTL jungle: the viewers again choose model Tessa in the jungle test. And already on day two the cabin fever takes over.

Cologne – Already on the second day, the jungle fever is spreading: After a few hours in the Australian camp, the stomachs are growling – and the nerves are bare here and there. In the second episode of the RTL show “I’m a star – get me out of here!” there were arguments and smaller dramas around the campfire on Saturday evening.

In the middle was again the model Tessa Bergmeier (33). The fact that she only got three out of twelve stars in her jungle test with the apt title “Hor-Rohr” and thus little food for the candidates, made her camp colleagues Cosimo Citiolo and Gigi Birofio a bit upset.

Underground Examination

Traditionally, the viewers like to shoot at a participant in the first week and repeatedly send her into unsavory encounters with maggots, cockroaches and the like. This year Tessa, who was staged as a camp bitch, got caught.

In her first test, shown on Saturday evening, she had to move through a kind of canal system that was inhabited by various crawling creatures. Worried about hurting the roaches or crayfish, she only got three stars out of 12, leaving her with little food for her already starving fellow campers, some of whom were as starved on day two in the jungle as they had been on previous ones Seasons only in week two.

The next test, which was to be broadcast on Sunday evening on “I’m a star – get me out of here!” Bergmeier doesn’t have to do alone, but together with her opponent Cosimo, with whom she has already clashed several times.

What else happened

Influencer Jolina Mennen told an astonished Gigi about her gender reassignment, Claudia Effenberg told about nightly phone calls with husband Stefan in her romantic early days and about the fact that he once put a pizza in the oven without first removing the plastic foil. And the follower Djamila Rowe worried about whether RTL and the viewers really had them on the screen.

The 55-year-old, who gained a certain notoriety because she invented an affair with an ambassador around 20 years ago, stood in for actor Martin Semmelrogge, who the Australian authorities – probably because of his trouble with the German judiciary – have not yet issued a visa . The chances that he will be able to move into the camp late are decreasing with each passing day.

The new season of the RTL cult show about the fight for the jungle crown began on Friday evening. The show will be filmed in Australia again for the first time since 2020. In 2021, the jungle camp fell victim to the corona pandemic – there was only one replacement variant filmed in Cologne. In 2022, “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” was filmed in South Africa. dpa
