THE HISTORY OF CASIO WATCHES
It is the pioneer brand in developing and marketing digital wristwatches. It came out in Japan in 1974. and from that moment on, a very high percentage of the planet’s population wore one of these devices on their wrist at some point and always with a very satisfactory result.
It had a screen to see the hour, minutes and seconds. In Peru, they caused a furor in the 80s. There were metal and rubber ones but their fundamental characteristic was their low cost, they were cheap.
Its creator was Japanese Tadao Kashio, who after joining a kitchen utensils factory in Tokyo became an inventor. Thus, in 1946, he decided to become independent and create his own company with his family: Casio Computer Co., Ltda (in honor of his last name Kashio).

Those were difficult times, so Japan had lost World War II and was devastated after the two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Even so, with the discipline and vision of the future that the Japanese have, the brand managed to stand out.
The factory went from repairing Tokyo airport machines to small parts for microscopes, telegraphs and ovens. He then specialized in portable and electric calculators.
With all this experience, in 1974 Casiotron was createdthe first digital quartz watch with a calendar, taking into account the length of the months and leap years, being the first brand to include it.
