The 20-year-old’s arrest “takes a weight off” the 14-year-old’s family and loved ones.

“I have hope in the police, in the forces of order and in justice because all we want is for justice to be done,” said Said Rabhi on our antenna.
Placed in judicial detention pending a judgment, the suspect faces 20 years in prison for the charges retained during the indictment.
“We are waiting for him to take the maximum sentence for this drama”, commented Aymen’s brother who is “still in mourning” and will “never be able to forget this little one”.
A new call for calm
After the tragedy, the threat of inter-community clashes still hovers in the south of France, the suspect being a settled gypsy.
Ayden’s older brother has already called for calm several times on behalf of his family. He did it again on BFMTV this Tuesday.
He also denounced “rumors” on social networks whose aim was to escalate the situation. “There were a lot of rumors that didn’t come from our neighborhood or our city to try to link us with the gypsy community,” he said.
