Dina Boluarte greeted Congress for refusing to debate the vacancy motion

Due to the apparent non-aggression pact between the president Dina Boluarte and the Congress of the republic, citizens continue to show their discontent in the various opinion polls that are carried out. Recently, the company Ipsos-Peru published the results of a new study in which it shows the level of popularity of both political actors.

At the moment, Boluarte Zegarra would have the 77% disapproval nationally. The figure represents an increase of one point compared to last March when it registered 76%. The main cause of rejection towards the Head of State is that she would not be looking for solutions to improve the economic situation of the country (45%).

Other causes are because they do not handle social protests well (38%), being involved in acts of corruption (31%) and are not supporting the victims of the rains and mudslides (30%), they want to stay in the government/does not wish to advance the elections (28%), betrayed Pedro Castillo/Congress ally (27%) and does not support the poor (22%).

For their part, only 15% support President Boluarte. In the breakdown, the support is due paradoxically because it is making improvements in the economy (41%) and supports the victims of the rains (27%). 26% for being the constitutional president of the Republic.
