Director of Inside Out 2 reveals details of new emotion

Inside Out 2 promises to be one of the biggest highlights of Pixar for the year 2024, and much of the excitement is due to its 1 teaser trailer, confirming the arrival of new emotions.

However, it is clear that the focus of the sequence is linked Anxiety, which appeared in the animation’s debut material. In an interview with Empire magazine, the director Kelsey Mann reveals a crucial detail about the new character.

“There are several different types of anxiety, but we will focus more specifically on social anxiety, which arises when we want to fit in and be part of a group, until we question things like, ‘Am I good enough?'”

In addition to this, Riley’s mental control room will still count on the arrival of Envy, Tdio e Shame.

It is also worth highlighting that Maya Hawke (Stranger Things) will be the voice behind Ansiedade, in the original cast of the animation.
