Chihuahua.- An argument between two drivers led to a shootout, in which a driver from the Uber platform was seriously injured. The events occurred yesterday afternoon on Teófilo Borunda avenue and Ocampo street, in the city of Chihuahua.

The Uber driver, identified as Rodrigo Omar CB, was driving a white Dodge Attitud car, when he got upset with another driver because he was not moving forward. Both men were speechless until the second driver pulled out a gun and fired.

The foregoing was narrated by the Uber passenger, named Federico L., who fled the scene until he reached the Clínica del Centro, located on Ojinaga and Ocampo streets, to be treated for an injury suffered during the altercation.

According to the witness, his Uber “threw the finger” at the other man, which caused his annoyance. After that, he heard the shots that seriously injured the driver and caused him an injury that did not endanger his life.

According to the Central District District Attorney, Francisco Martínez Valle, the Uber passenger is out of danger; However, the victim could only identify that the man who shot them was traveling in a black vehicle, so they have not yet been able to find his whereabouts.
