The taxi driver Damián Acevedo is the next witness to complicate the situation of Máximo Thomsen and Matías Benicelli, and he assured before declaring that his testimony would be brief. He recounts the same as the previous witnesses, a plot of the group attack and the auction by Thomsen. Acevedo had his taxi parked at the door of the Le Brique nightclub during the early hours of January 18, 2020.
The taxi driver watched the entire sequence from inside his vehicle:
“Fernando was taken out of the bowling alley in a good way, he wanted to re-enter, but the patovica refused. So he crossed the street. I saw him having an ice cream, while they took out other boys who were excited. There was one in a dark shirt, who was very beside himself. At first they stayed on the sidewalk. They were on their way to Buenos Aires Avenue, but did not arrive. They returned and went straight to Fernando and other boys who were there. I remember that they began to hit him without saying a word, they told him: ‘Black shit’, a lot of barbaric things, ”he recounted.
The witness indicates that he was able to see how two people who tried to intervene (“I don’t know if they were Fernando’s friends”) were also beaten. About the victim he said: “It was felt that the person was unconscious or that he could not even defend himself. It was like he wanted to ask for help, but he couldn’t. A boy in a white shirt hit Fernando three or four pineapples and then a boy in a dark shirt kicked him.”
From the descriptions he made, these last people would be Matías Benicelli and Máximo Thomsen.

“I was in Beerland, the restaurant that was next to Le Brique, I went up to say hello to one of the patovicas, Chiqui Muñoz, and he just intercepted the moment when both groups were being taken out,” he declared. She, just as the patovicas stated and what was seen in the videos, said that Fernando and his friends were taken out through the main door and the defendants through the service door.
In his account, he said that he could see how “they hit Fernando from behind and attacked the friends who were the ones who tried to defend him.” Asked if he remembers who he hits from behind, Tatiana Caro assures that he was “robust”.
Then, it indicates that this treasonous attack was committed by Lucas Pertossi. He assured that one of the defendants said: “Don’t worry, I’m going to take this black shit as a trophy.” He indicated the last name “Pertossi” back, but without specifying which of the three.
Tatiana then concluded her testimony.
After the taxi driver Acevedo and Tatiana Caro, he begins to declare Virginia Perez Antonellithe young woman who performed CPR on Báez Sosa and tried to save his life.
“I saw a boy lying on the floor and I approached him. A boy my age was kneeling next to Fernando asking if anyone knew how to do CPR. Since I had taken a course at the Red Cross, I approached another boy, a civilian, and felt his pulse. Since he didn’t have one, we started practicing on him. The boy left, but two or three policemen arrived. Since doing CPR is very tiring and I am very small, I was instructing them with my voice so that they could do it. Meanwhile, I held Fernando’s head and told him to please stay with me,” he said.
Later, always according to his story, the firefighters arrived. They asked her if she was a nurse and she said no, but that she knew how to do first aid. “There they apply a defibrillator and give him an electro shock. Minutes later the ambulance arrives and they take him away, ”she says.
After his story, the process goes to another intermediate room.
