Hidalgo del Parral.- The driver of a vehicle ran over a young mother and her baby on the road to Villa Matamoros. The little one, barely one year old, is in serious health after suffering a skull fracture.
The events took place on the road that leads from Parral to Villa Matamoros, a place where municipal police officers from that town arrived.
In the area of the report, the responsible vehicle was located, as well as an injured woman and a baby on the side of the asphalt strip, for which the presence of an ambulance was requested to transport the injured.
It was noted that they were transferred to Social Security in the city of Parral, however, it was necessary to transfer the minor to the general hospital, since he had skull fractures.
The one-year-old boy remained for several hours in this last hospital, however, his transfer to the children’s hospital in the city of Chihuahua was required, since the necessary equipment for his care was not available.
It transpired that the driver designated as the alleged perpetrator was arrested at the scene, being taken to the cells in the municipality of Matamoros, however, the prosecutor’s office or the National Guard were not informed of this fact.
