Easter is the most important festival in Christianity. From Maundy Thursday through Good Friday to Easter Monday, Christians celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. But what about the other two monotheistic world religions, the Islam and the Judaism? Do Muslims and Jews also celebrate Easter?

Easter in Judaism: Crucifixion on Passover – the connections

In Judaism, Passover is celebrated on the occasion of the exodus of the Jews from Egypt. According to the Bible, they lived there in slavery at Pharaoh’s court.
