She is about Maye Musk, the mother of billionaire Elon Musk, owner of Twitter and Tesla, as well as creator of SpaceX.
At 75 years old, with her beauty and style, Maye has stood out on the networks, managing to have more than a million followers on Instagram alone. And it is that this beautiful woman, who is also a nutritionist with several published books, has had a difficult life to get her family out of it.
Maye Haldeman, known as Maye Musk, is originally from Canada and has a twin sister named Kaye, with whom she began modeling when she was 15 years old. She later participated in the 1969 South African contest, a country to which she had emigrated with her family, and she was one of the finalists.
At just 21 years old, she married Errol Musk, a South African engineer who had been her love since high school, but this story of passion turned into a horror one, since in 1979 they divorced after being abused by him.
Since then, Maye decided to work as a plus-size model. Later she underwent a strict diet to start working with the measures that are usually required of girls on the catwalks. She lost 40 pounds and from there her interest in nutrition was born.
It was then that she decided to pursue a career and graduated with a Bachelor of Dietetics from the University of Pretoria. He later earned a master’s degree from the University of Orange, also in South Africa.
