CDMX.- Actor Brendan Fraser has admitted that he blamed himself for smoking pot in college and was bummed out when his son Griffin was diagnosed with autism as a child.

The Oscar nominee said he wanted to ‘fix’ and find a cure for his son.

“My first reaction was: ‘I want to know how to fix this. What is the cure? What does this mean?'”

“This is not the way it’s supposed to turn out. You blame yourself and think, ‘My genealogy or I smoked weed in college,'” Fraser recounted on The Howard Stern Show.

In said program, he revealed that his son was two years old when they discovered that he had autism, he is currently 20.

Brendan admitted that he now has a different perspective on his son’s condition and wouldn’t change it, as Griffin helped him have a greater connection to his role in The Whale.
