Last year, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest once again caused a stir with viewers. And it was in Yerevan, the Armenian capital, that sixteen budding singers – aged 9 to 14 – competed to try to win the prestigious competition. By collecting no less than 203 points, Lissandro allowed France to win the competition for a second time and therefore, to host the next edition of Junior Eurovision.

Before praising the merits of the place: “Nice is a unique landscape, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which will be an exceptional setting to highlight the candidates for Eurovision junior. But it is much more! Trusting the city of Nice to host and organize this unique evening in our Nikaïa Palace is proof that we are a European metropolis that organizes world events, particularly cultural ones.“

The mayor of Nice is not the only one to have shared his joy at hosting such a competition.
