Um former Apple employee accused of having deceived the company and stolen more than 17 million dollars (15.5 million euros) was sentenced to three years in prison.

Between 2011 and 2018, Dhirendra Prasad worked in Apple’s Global Service Supply Chain department and carried out schemes that led him to accept bribes, steal parts and inflate receipts. In addition, Prasad also led Apple to pay for services it never received, says the Engadget website.

Note that, in addition to prison time, Prasad will also have to pay what he stole from Apple as well as pay another 1.9 million dollars (the equivalent of 1.73 million euros).
