Juarez City- A woman died this morning in a rear-end collision that occurred on the Libramiento Independencia and Fray Antonio de Arriaga street, operational personnel from the General Coordination of Road Safety (CGSV) reported.

The accident occurred at 01:30 a.m., when the white International 2002 model truck, with license plates 855376B, driven by Juan Carlos UR, 35, was left stranded on Independencia Boulevard, due to a tire coming off the axle. front and blocked the right lane, where a 1999 model Honda Accord was driving, which crashed into the rear, a CGSV commander reported.

Inside the compact vehicle, a woman who was co-pilot was left lifeless, while the driver Paola U. P, 23, was injured and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The causes of the accident were the mechanical failure of the truck and the failure to respect a safety distance by the driver of the Honda, explained the middle command of Road Safety.

The body of the deceased woman was rescued from the wrecked vehicle and transferred to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).
