Featherweight will throw out the first pitch in the Dodgers vs.  pirates

The regional Mexican singer Peso Pluma has been invited to throw out the first ball in the Dodgers vs. Pirates next July 5.

The singer from Zapopan, Jalisco, has broken records with his songs worldwide and has come to have more songs on the Spotify Global List.

The invitation to the 24-year-old singer was made after requests from fans.

The Dodgers team announced the news on their Twitter account: “We hear you loud and clear. @PesoPluma will throw out the ceremonial first pitch this Wednesday 5/7, so get your tickets to see it!”

Featherweight’s fame has received attention from all genres and it was last month that he premiered his song “Ella Baila Sola” on the Jimmy Fallon show, making history by making the first regional Mexican music artist to perform on that scenario.

On June 8, the singer of the album “Genesis“, kicked off a US tour and has added more dates.
