Hours of tension and nervousness lived last Tuesday a family from the neighborhood called “Las Banderitas” in City Bell, after at least two armed and hooded individuals took the victims by surprise and forcibly entered their home located at 476 between 162 and 164.
The thieves did not care that the house was located almost two hundred meters from the entrance to the property. Without any kind of resentment they advanced this section until they reached the hull of the plot to carry out the robbery.
The nightmare began around 7:00 p.m., when the homeowner was outside his home. It was at that moment that the criminals surprised him, who are suspected of having arrived at the scene on foot.
Inside the property were the three children of the homeowner. Without a hint of mercy and consideration for the age of the minors, they forced them to lie on the ground while one of the assailants pointed a gun at them.
With total control of the scene, the accomplices began to search the house. In the unbridled search for valuables, the victim offered to deliver phones and other objects in exchange for them leaving the farm.
But nothing made the criminals back down, who at all times were convinced that there was a large sum of money in the house and that they would do whatever was necessary to seize it.
Thus, the individuals decided to increase the level of violence and terror in order to “soften up” the victim. First they took the owner of the property and tied his hands and feet. Then they continued with a tortuous interrogation in which insults, shouting and threats abounded.
Thanks to this maneuver, the criminals managed to get the victim to agree to reveal where he kept his savings.
In total, they seized a total of 900 dollars and also the phones that the victim had offered them as soon as they entered. It is an iPhone 12 and another of the same brand but model 6 in which the researchers have great confidence to solve the case.
In this regard, it should be noted that while these devices have a GPS system that allows revealing the place where they are located. That is why the investigators are waiting for one of these phones to be turned on to find out the geographical point in which they are located and thus be able to obtain some clue that can lead to those responsible for this fact.
On January 4, a 31-year-old man residing in the city of Quilmes ended up in custody in the Once neighborhood, in the city of Buenos Aires, accused of being part of a gang that carried out a raid at 4 between 464 and 465, City Bell.
It only took a few hours to find the suspect. And it was all because the thug himself traced the path to the police about his location with one of the iPhones that, in addition to 192,000 pesos and a Toyota SW4 truck, was part of the stolen loot.
After defining a series of bureaucratic issues regarding the jurisdictions, the suspect, nicknamed “Thumbnail”, was arrested.
He himself was surprised in that Buenos Aires neighborhood when he was trying to sell the device. Thanks to the characteristics provided by the victim regarding his physical appearance and clothing, the officers who went to the place marked by the geolocation system recognized him immediately and learned it.
