In a room fire in a Kamp-Lintforter LVR facility, six people had to be hospitalized. Police blocked the road.

The fire brigade had to move out today, Thursday, January 5, at 2:35 p.m. to a room fire in a residential facility of the LVR in Kamp-Lintfort, in the Friedrichstrasse area. Although all residents and employees had already left the house when the rescue workers arrived, six people had to be taken to the hospital. “According to current knowledge, a total of six people suffered minor injuries from inhaling smoke gases,” the fire brigade reported in the evening.

LVR residents could be accommodated in other facilities

Through the LVR management, the residents could be accommodated in other facilities. Police officers blocked Friedrichstrasse between Eupener Strasse and Königstrasse for the duration of the extinguishing work.
